Lost rings

Good morning, everyone! I'm hoping that this post might lead to some information.

My fella and I were at Redbones last night around 6pm. He went to wash his hands and took off his two rings at the sink in the upstairs bar bathroom. Unfortunately, he then left the restaurant without putting them back on. When he went back almost 30 minutes later, they were gone.

They were fairly nice rings, but both were worth far more in sentimental value than monetary value. One of them was our version of an engagement ring, and we're both devastated. If anyone happens to have any information, or happened to find them, we would love to have them back. We won't ask questions, we won't judge, heck we'll probably even reward you.

If you think you might have info, or want to confirm with us what they looked like, please drop me a line.

Thanks!

I am a math tutor, trying to find high school and college students who need some extra help. When I lived in Arlington, I knew places I could advertise where students (or their parents) would see my flyers and call me. Unfortunately, they're mostly too far away from my Somerville apartment. That great bulletin board in the Belmont library draws in students who live in Belmont...and I would really rather find some in Somerville or Cambridge.

1) Are you, or do you know, somebody who is having trouble preparing for exams? I can help review for finals and prepare for standardized tests in math, chemistry, and physics. (Sometimes I also help social science grad students who are confused or intimidated by statistics--exam prep and editing research papers.)

2) Do you know of good places to post flyers? I want them to be seen by students who are having trouble, are ambitious to do better, and have a bit of money. Or just seen by lots and lots of students. Some places (like the Diesel) get covered over amazingly fast, and others (like outside Magpie, or laundromats) seem to never even get looked at. I feel like I'm missing something.

Does anyone know someplace to buy a cummerbund for a tuxedo? I know you can get them online but I was wondering if there any places around that sell them. Thanks.

I set a Trader Joe's bag out in front of my apartment on Marshall St in Somerville. it has a frappe machine and a slap chop in it and i have literally not used either of them once. I'm moving tomorrow and it needs to go!! it's in front of the teal duplexy building across from the playground.

enjoy, friends!

- And more!

I was wondering if anyone could recommend a good dental and/or optometry practice near Davis or Porter? I know Gentle Dental is in the Porter Square Shopping Center, but does anyone have any experience with them? I have Metlife insurance for dental and Blue Cross for vision and will need to see somebody who is covered. In terms of what I'm looking for, well I have a really low pain tolerance and am easily squicked by visits to the dentist, so want someone who is gentle with a soothing personality who will warn me before they're about to stick something in my mouth (especially something that might hurt). As far as eye care, well I recently broke my glasses and am in need of new frames. I look for fun and funky frames in vibrant colors when possible, so a place that has a good selection of frames like this would be good. Thanks!
