I know this has been asked before but memories appear to not be working at the moment.

I'm looking for a butcher somewhere around Davis Square...or actually anywhere in the Cambridge/Medford/Arlington/Somerville area.

I'm specifically looking for filet mignon for a special birthday dinner for my boyfriend...

Any recommendations? I already tried Bob's in Medford, but they have to special order it. If all else fails I'm going to go to Whole Foods, but I'd rather go to a butcher.

Right before I got to the escalators at Davis someone fell on the down side on College. People ahead of me said she fell, hit her head, passed out, and as a final indignity the stairs ate her clouthing. I really hope she is okay. It looked like one or both of her legs/hips was broken.

What pissed me off was the responce. Before the fire trucks arrived I had time to verify someone had called 911, walk up, wait around 5 minutes, get on the wrong bus (forgot where I was going) and walk two blocks back to Davis and miss the correct bus. I kid you not. The fire trucks and I arrived (and 87 left). It took the ambulance guys another 15 minutes to follow. While waiting for the correct bus, I and a bunch of others gawked and gossiped (I can be a bad human at times), and it wasn't until just as they prepared to pull her out that the cop decided to clear the crowd (at this point one of her pants legs was completely removed) and the firemen finally realized they could spread a sheet across the escalator rails to give her privacy. I am very confused by how long it took the fire departmeng to respond, even at rush hour, and I'm beyond shocked about the ambulance.

Does anyone know how to find typical fire and ambulance responce times?

If anyone knows her - wish her well and a quick and speedy recovery. It could have been any of us that happened to.
