According to Rebekah Gewirtz's latest e-newsletter, a Mexican food chain called Chipotle will move into the Buck-a-Book space. H&R Block will move into the former Mini-Mart.

Chipotle used to be owned by McDonald's, but separated from them last month.

I'll try to post the full newsletter later tonight.

I did not go to the last Wall of Respect meeting, but I'm on their mailing list. Here's what they sent me today:

The next meeting of the Wall of Respect for Women Mural Project will be on Wednesday, Dec. 13, 6:30 - 8 PM at the Nathan Tufts Field House at Powderhouse Circle. Quyen Truong from Artists for Humanity will present information about steps, tasks, funding etc. for a mural project, and what she and her organization might be able to provide.

On Thursday there will be a road race in Davis Square.
It's too late to register (deadline was November 20th), so this mostly serves as a warning to people who want to drive on Thursday morning. (It doesn't go down my street, so I have no recollection of whether traffic gets held up for this race, anyone know?

Starts at 9am in Davis; the race goes up Holland to Teele Square, up Packard to Powderhouse, Broadway to Medford Street, Central to Somerville Ave, and Elm back to Davis Square.
