Meghan,

I just ran in to you earlier today (Sunday, Mar 30) at Diesel Cafe. Sorry I didn't get a chance to chat more. I'd like to remedy that.

Hello out there fellow LJers in the Davis Area-

I hope everyone is doing well. While I'm not a frequent poster, I thought this may be of interest to some of you avid video game fans in our community.

I am selling my gently used Nintendo Wii. We bought it around the holidays with the help of my wife's brother, who works in retail. However, we have decided to simplify our lifestyle a bit, including saying goodbye to the Wii.

A few details: It comes with 2 Wii Controllers, 1 Nunchuck, 1 Classic N64 controller, Wii sports and Super Paper Mario and the Console. We also have the original box to package everything in for you.

We are asking $275, well below what we paid for everything. We just want it to go to a good home, where it will get lots of play time. :)

We live in Winter Hill, but can meet you anywhere T accessible this week. Drop us an email, if you are interested. Wardheidi@gmail.com

Peace,

Heidi and Kris Ward

Tufts has about a month of classes left, so things are going to rush by for the next few weeks as student groups spend their activities budgets on film events and the like.

See the complete Boston-area calendar online. There are two ways to access it:

• Directly through the link Boston Free Films
• Add the calendar through Google Calendar. Search for Joe’s BFF – Boston Free Films (any phrase should find it) and you can incorporate it with your own calendar.

Coming attractions... )

recycling

A couple of quick recycling questions. Thanks to everyone who answered and check the comments for more options and detailed information.

1- Which local grocery stores have recycling bins for plastic bags?

http://community.livejournal.com/davis_square/924698.html Quick answer is Shaws/Porter Sq and Johnny's Foodmaster

2- Where can I recycle old ink-jet catridges? quick answer is Staples. Other places as well, and some offer coupons, but generally, Epson cartridges are not eligible.

3- Where can I recycle an old cellphone? (the battery is shot, so it's not suitable to donate to a domestic violence program.)

Quick answer again is Staples.

I'm a classically trained pianist with sixteen years of experience. I am currently looking to team up with two other musicians-- a flutist or a violinist and a clarinet player or a celloist. My goal here is to play together in hopes of performing at events requiring classical music, such as weddings, funerals, special events, etc.. Ideally, this would be a weekend gig, and pay would be split three ways. Practices would be 1-2 times a week, depending on how things went. (Students welcome!)

So, anyone, anyone? You know you want to... :)
