More Free Burritos

For those not too exhausted from standing in the unending ice cream line last night, here's another opportunity to waste your free time for food.

Chipotle in Davis Square has a big sign announcing free burritos on April 17th.  If it's anything like the Harvard Square opening, expect to spend way too much time in (or on, if you prefer) line.  

Broken appliances

I've done a quick check of the Somerville website and checked the 'garbage' tag, but I can't seem to find the answer to this.

I have a broken microwave and CRT monitor.  How do I get rid of them?  I've been holding on to them for almost a month and I need to reclaim the floor space!

Free Circuit-bending workshop

What is circuit bending you say? Basically it's taking an electrical circuit, and making it do strange things.

We're looking for one more housemate for our 4BR apartment to enter a year-long lease starting June first. The heat and water are included in rent! Two cats, tons of common space, 1-3/4 baths, a dining room, living room, and big kitchen.

We are looking for a poly/gay/bi/pagan/trans/etc-friendly, non-smoker who likes sharing a house with others. Crafty or geeky a plus. :) Sorry, no kids or pets ("cage pets" negotiable though). Communally, we like to be friendly with our roommates and like occasional shared meals(omnivorous), movie nights, and hanging out, but you don't have to if that's not your thing. :) We also host parties of various sizes.

McIntyre & Moore reopens tomorrow

I got this e-mail today:

McIntyre and Moore Booksellers will be opening at 1971 Massachusetts Ave. in Porter Square, Cambridge, Thursday April 10. Our hours in Porter Square will be:
Monday through Wednesday 10:00 AM to 8:00 PM
Thursday, Friday, Saturday 10:00 AM to 10:00 PM
Sunday Noon to 8:00PM.

It'll be a "soft" opening, as ours always have been. Thursday we won't start with much more than a thousand books on the shelves, but we have many thousands pre-priced, so we should be able to add a thousand or so per day. For our customers for cookbooks and children's books, we have been able to restock those sections, and we'll get the books out as soon as we can.
