Thanks for getting me some free ice cream for five minutes of wiping up egg yolk. Sorry to disappoint you as the staff, as far as I know, left on time and were not ultimately inconvenienced by your immaturity. Props also to bluesauce, both of us glad volunteers as, well, we like their ice cream.

As for my opinion of the perpetrators themselves, one of whom I observed running away and whom also was obviously old enough to legally buy cigarettes, my opinion can be summed up ( thusly: )

Hi all,

We're having a farewell party tomorrow night (Monday, that is) from 6-8pm.

I can relay details in person if you're interested at that time. Trust me that nothing saddens me and the team more than having to leave Davis.

Kids eat free tomorrow [Monday] evening, and everyone else pays $3 for burritos and smoothies. And maybe we'll even pop a bottle of bubblies or two :)

We've met some wonderful people at Davis, and while we're sad that it didn't work out (our first in nearly 12 years) we enjoyed the time we were here.

If you're taking your adorable chocolate lab out for a stroll on the bike-path on a lovely Sunday afternoon, please protect your dog and other people using the path and keep him on a leash.

I witnessed an almost-accident at close range as the dog ambled from one side of the path to another, forcing a bicyclist to slam on his brakes and stop hard to avoid hitting him.

He doesn't know any better, he's just a dog, doing what dogs do. You, on the other hand, should.

Red Sox Trophies

There's a guy taking photos, which you will be able to download from a website. I also brought my own camera, and they took a photo with it.

Translate English >> Portuguese for me?

Hi-

Anyone here speak Portuguese? I have a Brazilian couple who come in every other week to do some house cleaning. They are very nice but their command of English is slight (and frankly gets slighter when I try to explain some of the house things I want them to attend to). I've tried the online translation tools but this couple just seem to draw a blank when I show them the translation and I have no idea how garbled it is. I'd like to keep using their service but the language thing is getting frustrating.

Can anyone translate a paragraph or two?
