okay ladies and gents, last time i called upon the collective wisdom of [livejournal.com profile] davis_square to recommend a taxi company, i lived in somerville and just wanted general recs. i now live in arlington (don't know if this changes anything dramatically for cabs), need an early ride to logan, and have yet another taxi question --

can anyone recommend a taxi service aside from metro cab that accepts credit card payments? i have good experiences with green cab but i really need to be able to charge the fare (for receipt/expensing purposes). i could have sworn green took credit cards but i just called them and they said no? *sadface*

i wasn't a big fan of metrocab when i've taken it. so any recommendations for other cab companies would be great.

♥ thanks!

Not quite Davis Square but I wanted to let everyone know that Taza Chocolate (in UNION square) is doing another open house on May 2nd. I've been before and it's pretty cool to see our own local Charlie and the Chocolate Factory right here in Somerville (also: free chocolate!).

Also, here's an image to tempt you.

Restaurant help:
I have a rather specific restaurant request. We are looking for a sit-down restaurant that serves vaguely healthy food that's not just a salad. Does anyone know of any restaurants that list calorie content on their menus (even part of their menus)? Any restaurant that is simply more health conscious overall?
Bonus for multiple vegetarian options. Double bonus for T/bus accessible.

Big Moves Boston Presents: Fat Camp
A Summer-Camp-Themed Musical
April 24 - May 2
Evening Shows Fridays and Saturdays - doors at 7:30, show at 8
Saturday Matinees - doors at 1:30, show at 2
First Church Cambridge, 11 Garden St., Cambridge, MA 02138 (just blocks from the Harvard Square T-stop)
Tickets: $15 in advance, $20 at door (student rush tickets available at the door for $10 with student ID)
Advance tickets available here!

This year, Big Moves Boston is taking over the phrase "fat camp" and making it our own, with an all-new, summer-camp-themed revue, Fat Camp ("leave your baggage behind"). Fat Camp runs in the Boston area April 24-25 and May 1-2, and then travels to Philadelphia for one weekend only, on May 8-9.

Fat Camp is summer camp the way Big Moves would do it, full of dining-hall dancing, post-modern pillow fights, a full-service cold-cereal bar, shower-room burlesques, campfire sing-alongs, and of course, trust games. With lots of audience interaction, Fat Camp invites viewers to take their own body-acceptance journeys along with us, and learn to love the skin they're in!

BONUS FAT-CAMP EVENTS on Saturdays between shows!

4 to 5 p.m.: All-sizes hip hop!
5 to 6 p.m.: Fattie-friendly crafts!

Each session is only $5, or $10 for both!

I find myself in possession of a few hundred CD cases (without CDs or liner notes). Anyone know of any place (donation center, used CD store) that could use them, or is leaving them in the recycling bin my best option?
