The City of Somerville will set off fireworks at Trum Field this Thursday, June 28, starting at about 9:15 pm.

The fireworks will be preceded by a general street party on Broadway, starting at 6 pm, featuring live entertainment by the Somerville Sunsetters, Booty Vortex, the USO Metropolitan New York Performers, and the U.S. Air Force Band of Liberty.

You really don't want to drive or park anywhere near this event -- especially not on Broadway or Cedar Street. For a full list of street closures, parking restrictions, and detours for bus routes 80 and 89, see the official city announcement.

The city will also hold a 'Family Fun Day' at Trum Field on Saturday, June 30th from noon – 5:00 P.M., which will include a free barbecue and various children's activities.

I'm a self-employed graphic designer and have been extraordinarily lucky thus far to have not needed a lawyer for any client disputes. But before I actually need one, I figure I should find one before something dire should happen. Can anyone recommend an attorney who works with small businesses?

Greeting davis square,

I'm seeking two services.

Yard Work:
* Trim Hedges
* Remove three to four foot+ ragweed and other weeds.
* Pull down overgrowth.

I've asked several services, but most garden people are crunchy-organic-make-it-pretty goodness ($$$$$). Not "just clean the overgrown crap up please" ($).

Inside the house:
* Previous resident has been a pet-astrophy there.
* The basement smells awful, and was used as a litterbox by the previous resident's cat.
I need a cleaning service that can deal with this sort of thing.
* Carpets need steam cleaning, etc...

(I've seen lots of advice in other posts fixing this yourself, but i'm not currently in a physical state to be able to do this myself - alas. I am seeking to hire someone)

This is time sensitive.

Earlier today, two brass bands congregated on the front porch of the Redbones' owner's house (corner of Chester & Orchard Streets) and played New Orleans standards. It sure sounded like a jazz funeral. Anyone know what was going on?
